Specializing in pediatric chaplaincy, I provided care and support in the NICU, PICU, pediatric emergency department, pediatric behavioral health, and general pediatrics. I also orchestrated educational events for medical students in partnership with Wake Forest University School of Medicine.

Curating an innovative, engaging curriculum, I taught children from a 4K member congregation. I recruited, trained, and directed a team of 150 volunteers. I implemented programming for an initial and subsequent mission trip to Bududa, Uganda, partnering Outreach in their work with the Bududa Learning Center to build a permanent Bududa Vocational School to house 250 students. I co-led 2 years of interfaith, intergenerational summer camps for refugee children relocated in Budapest, Hungary at the height of the Syrian refugee crisis. This entailed authoring and implementing an interfaith curriculum for a camp serving children from 8 nations and delivering English and Hungarian language training, employment aid, and housing assistance to parents.
