I’ve had the opportunity to work with doctors in various specialities including pediatrics, trauma surgery, emergency medicine and innovative research. I have experience with diverse groups of patients in terms of age, race, socioeconomic status and religion. I am an open minded individual that is capable of adapting to different environments—from small clinics in small towns to large and busy hospitals in the city.I have been so blessed to meet such beautiful souls while working in research, my patients. I learn such interesting things every time I interact with them during their visits, they always make me look forward to the next the time.My patients will always be my priority and I make it a point to create a safe space for them when they come see me. I hope that God continues to use me in their lives in anyway I can be of service.I plan to attend medical school and continue my career in research. As a first-generation immigrant, my long term goal is to serve a minority-majority community. I hope to use all that I’ve learned to educate and innovate underserved communities where quality healthcare is difficult to obtain.
