Pharmacy Systems Analyst
CurrentUnder the supervision of the Pharmacy Manager assists in the development, testing and maintenance of department automation, information systems and interfaces. Interacts with department employees to provide assistance or training related to the implementation or maintenance of new systems. Prepares and/or maintains documentation of system procedures and activities. *Create and maintain databases to support new and existing department functions and systems (Pyxis, Epic, CimScan, PC, Printer, DoseEdge, Anesthesia Cart).*Create and/or validate system formulary records for all Pharmacy related systems (PCSI, Pyxis, Omnicell, Epic, DoseEdge, Lockview).*Acts as a resource in providing and maintaining Information System resources required to support Pharmacy department operations or functions (Security Administration, Epic Willow, Networking, Data Center, Break/Fix, Nursing, Investigational)*Assists in maintaining and meeting project time lines for departmental information systems projects (Pharmacy relocations/constructions, New King of Prussia, PA Hospital 01/2022)*Provide reports in response to user requests and in accordance with established procedures or requirements (Pyxis, Business Objects)*Enhances growth and development through participation in educational programs, in-service meetings, and workshops.*Ensures that Pharmacy personnel are trained in new systems or processes in an appropriate manner.
