I am now focused on sourcing within our Head Office, Shared Services and Electronic Systems Business Units. This covers a variety of positions; Early Careers, Pensions, HR and Procurement.

Within this role, I was involved in recruiting for a variety of disciplines within Engineering. Within BAE Systems these roles are quite niche, due to the specific experience that is needed, Functional safety, safety case development and software safety. As well as Electrical Design and full systems Lifecyle experience. This is due to the systems being safety critical, such as rescue systems on submarines and flight control systems on fast jets. My Responsibilities included:- Proactively sourcing niche engineering positions using Boolean searches and various job boards; Systems Engineers, Electrical Design Engineers, Product Safety Engineers, Naval Architects at all levels within the business - Writing adverts and posting these on the correct job boards- Shortlisting applications and carrying out a thorough Telephone Interview Document, prior to progressing to the HM- Campaigns for BAE Systems - Systems Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, Electrical Design Engineers- Attended Careers events, representing BAE Systems as well as online CTP events- Presenting market insights to BAE Systems Hiring Managers- Working towards and achieving weekly and monthly KPI's- Became Engineering SME - Created and delivered training for fellow team members; LinkedIn training, System training, Source Code Training etc. - Involved in Engagement across the account - Games, weekly catch ups etc.- Working collaboratively with the onsite recruiters

Predominantly, I recruited within Manufacturing and Operations for a variety of disciplines. SourceCloud™ powered by Alexander Mann Solutions is our global sourcing channel management team that brings insight and research, plus deep understanding of consumer branding. My main responsibilities involved:- Working a full 360 end to end recruitment process and using in-depth sourcing techniques to search the internet and databases for appropriate CV’s. - Contacting and screening possible candidates against live job opportunities – communicating and listening to over 15 candidates a day- High amount of data input into Microsoft Excel, stating revenue produced from each placement and candidate details, organizing and attending weekly meetings. - Meeting and exceeding monthly, quarterly and annual targets.- Headhunting, recruiting candidates directly through a range of different techniques such as job boards and social media. - Working closely alongside Client Service Managers to ensure candidate life cycle process runs smoothly. - Establishing clients requirements to ensure all levels of expectancy are met.- Within this role I recruited for AVIS Budget Group, Amazon and Cognolink.- Whilst working within this role, I was doing my NVQ Level 3 in Recruitment.
