As an event coordinator, I am responsible for managing details of the Central Penn Business Journal’s events and awards program. I coordinate all activities of my assigned events including the marketing of nominations and ticket sales. I also help develop and maintain an event-related web presence through our website and social media, provide customer.

My client, the Don Davis Program in Ethical Leadership, promotes professional, academic, and personal integrity to students within the College of Communications at Penn State. I led a team to help promote these ideas by creating a campaign to reach throughout campus. Utilizing multiple mediums like videos, and social media, we promoted the program, its.

I worked with my co-director to secure speakers and presenters for all member events for our Chapter. I also helped organize and run workshops for PRSSA members on a variety of PR topics.

As a chair, I helped lead weekly meetings with 40+ PRSSA members interested in planning events for our chapter. Over the year we planned 6 events, one of them raising over $300 for Toys for Tots. Members were delegated tasks of promoting to campus, and local communities.

As an Account Associate for the Penn State's Computer Store, I worked with a team to help re-brand, and promote the store and its events. I wrote press and radio releases, worked at all events, and help creatively design and promote our large end of the year Expo.

Every week I opened and closed the local community's blood donor center. I worked each week to promote the blood drive by designing and posting flyers, and assisted with scheduling of new appointments.

I worked alongside the Media Manager to work at events as ribbon cuttings and check presentations by preparing media kits, and assisting with interviews. I wrote and posted press releases for recent doctoral graduates and helped design a new display for the Medical Center's main lobby. For the display, I researched archives, and wrote up historical.

I wrote nine news stories for the paper. I helped brainstorm story ideas, conducted interviews, and edited pieces. Some topics included the H1N1 virus, a local security company, a well renowned Penn State professor, and underage drinking.
