Managed the undergraduate and graduate journalism programs, including a teaching team of four staff and three part-time staff. Provided program advice to 400 on-campus and distance education students. Developed and implemented a proposal to restructure the program to meet industry requirements. Feedback from students, industry, university management and departmental staff was extremely positive. Coordinated work experience placements for students via partnerships with news organizations across Queensland.
