Chief Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, Tgh Advanced Practice Clinician Executive CommitteeTeamhealth Aug 2010 - PresentTampa General HospitalFor 20 years, I have worked in a fast-paced Level 1 Trauma and Transplant center as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. I have gained extensive experience in line placements for a variety of complex cases including heart and liver transplants, open heart surgery, general surgery, and joint replacements. Tampa General is ranked one of the top hospitals in Florida with cutting-edge, technology-advancing medicine. Since September 2016 I have been the Co-Chief CRNA for 160 colleagues.• As Chief CRNA I am responsible for the management of nurse anesthesia services in collaboration with the department of surgery and nursing administration for the 160 CRNA's and 80 MDA's at Tampa General Hospital. We are TEAMHealth's largest anesthesia practice with 17 different locations. • Analyzes and evaluates activities to assure established quality patient care• Help implement anesthesia personnel policies • Make recommendations for changes in staffing/budget • Highly experienced with regional anesthesia and proficient with epidural and spinal blocks• Proficient with central and arterial line placement• Past clinical coordinator for several nurse anesthesia programs that rotate through Tampa General and currently mentor/teach students in the clinical setting daily• Serve on TGH Advanced Practice Clinician Council, representing 160 peers• Anesthesia representative on OR Throughput Project -
