About Nicole Dietsche Hansen
I am a highly organized, motivated, and hard working paramedic with almost six years of experience working in the NYC 911 system. I recently accepted a promotion where I directly supervise 30 employees and am responsible for daily schedule maintenance, QA/QI, and disciplinary actions.In addition to my clinical experience, I am also a New York State Certified Instructor Coordinator and have been the lead instructor for St. John's University's Paramedic Original Courses 23 and 25. I serve as a mentor for many of my students as they proceed throughout their class and into their professional careers.In order to improve my abilities as an educator, I am also in the process of obtaining my Master’s degree in Adult Education and Cognitive Science at American College of Education. I am expected to complete my degree in March, 2019.In my spare time, I am a triathlete and ultramarathoner. I enjoy the mental and physical rigors of endurance sports and find that it improves my persistence and resilience in my daily life and career.
