Dr. Nicole Goldin brings 25 years' experience in policy, strategy, thought leadership, research, programs, communications, diplomacy, client/stakeholder relations, and management leadership in glocal economics, development, finance, foreign affairs, national security, and impact. She is known for pioneering work in inclusive growth and recovery, generational youth and gender equity, positive economic statecraft, multilateralism, as well as macro, jobs, financial inclusion, SMEs, education/workforce, digital, Just Transition, and wellbeing. She is nonresident Senior Fellow at Atlantic Council and Executive Principal and Chief Economist of NRG Advisory - a boutique consultancy. She is a member of Bretton Woods Committee. Prior, she was Global Head, Inclusive Growth at Abt Associates, Lead Economist, Policy and Strategy advisor at the World Bank, and Adjunct Professor at George Washington University. In November 2018 she was elected to a two-year term Advisory Neighborhood Commission (ANC) 2A, a local governing body in Washington, DC. She was founding Director of the Youth Prosperity and Security Initiative at Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) with IYF where she created the Global Youth Wellbeing Index. Nicole served in senior positions in the Obama-Biden Administration at State Department, USAID, leading on diplomatic and development initiatives concerning youth and playing a key role on minerals, economic growth, Africa, urbanization, UN engagement, women and girls, human security and SDGs. Nicole served on the Boards of Educate!, She's the First, Society for International Development.
