- Lead weekly classes of 20-30 students and facilitate group collaboration geared towards difficult concepts covered in the lecture- Make weekly session plans to cover the most difficult concepts in the course- Host weekly office hours to help clarify concepts for students in the course

- Observe Academic Mentors to ensure they are maintaining student success and expectations set by the Bepko Learning Center- Give feedback on Academic Mentors to improve students learning experiences in classes that have a high drop/fail rate- Recruit and interview potential new Academic Mentors- Create and lead training for new and returning mentors in the Bepko Learning Center

- Coordinate and manage volunteers to staff the check-in area at the clinic- Communicate with other teams at the clinic to ensure patient satisfaction- Register patients to be observed by medical professionals- Attain appropriate documents for patients including patient consent and information documents- Train and onboard new volunteers to follow the proper protocol

- Reduce stress and anxiety of children by providing activities and games to complete- Support families and staff by creating a safe environment for children to play in during their time in the hospital- Provide children a place to relax and have fun during their stay in the hospital- Maintain a clean and orderly environment to minimize illness and injury

- Assess and perform Morris Water Maze, Balance Beam, Locomotor Activity and Gait Analysis behavioral testing on TcMAC21 and Ts65Dn Down syndrome mouse models- Capture and visualize data from Morris Water Maze, Balance Beam, Locomotor Activity and Gait - Analysis behavioral testing- Analyze, interpret, and run statistical analyses on behavioral testing data using T. tests in EXCEL- Perform polymerase chain reaction and gel electrophoresis for genotype verification using Biorad Gel Doc XR+ Imaging System and C1000 Touch Thermal Cycler- Perform DNA quantification to quantify amount of DNA using the NanoDrop 2000- Present current research in conferences and meetings- Lead quarterly journal club

- Oversee various committees’ plans and events within our chapter- Help plan and execute officer and general member meetings- Plan and execute Spring 2024 Induction ceremony- Attend National Convention- Coordinate transition training day for incoming officers- Speak at National Phi Eta Sigma Webinars
