About Nicole Kohn

I am currently a consultant where I support state Electronic Health Records (EHR) Implementation Projects, Incentive Programs, and coordinate Quality Assurance activities. I have served as a business analyst for both the financial system assessment and EHR implementation teams for the Kentucky Department of Public Health (DPH). These DPH projects involve statewide EHR implementation for 61 local health departments and over 800 unique service sites. I am also a clinical financial management expert for the team. Prior to joining Health Tech Solutions, I provided quality assurance and reviews for billed evaluation and management (E/M) services, including Modifier 25 reviews, in a multi-specialist setting. I also managed the selection and implementation of the practice revenue cycle management technology system. I have extensive training through a nationally accredited degree program in patient health information systems, coding, billing, and medical records.When not working on complex healthcare problems, I enjoy rock climbing, traveling, good wine and food, fitness, and spending time building new memories with my son.
