I provide the team with training and support with pulling great shots of espresso, milk steaming, and working clean and efficiently. I show enthusiasm for specialty coffee and new menu offerings and get my team excited to experiment and grow their coffee knowledge. I taste test weekly with the team together and discuss flavor notes, mouth feel and overall impressions of each individual coffee or new menu item with them. When needed, I help detect subpar standard beverages and work with the team towards serving only exceptional beverages, evaluating their personal growth and working together to strive for excellence daily in all that we do.

Overseeing all aspects of operation at Larkspur as well as Miller Ave location, the highest volume store, where I improved sales by $10k in the month of April alone, implemented standards and hired on new talent into the cafe.

Supporting the GM and acting as a liaison between staff and management to build a strong and supported team.

During this time, I learned about company culture and protocol. I learned operating procedure and focused on building strong connections with guests and the community while working the same role at 7 of 8 of our locations in Marin County and San Francisco. I was a part of the opening team at Fort Mason in July of 2017 which has since grown to become a well loved and successful store in the company.
