Before entering law, I gained 8 valuable years of experience in HR through roles of progressive responsibility within an international organization. Working in a volatile industry taught me the art of constantly innovating and re-inventing my skills, eventually leading me down the path of advancing my HR experience with a legal education. My past experience has provided me with a unique appreciation of how to advise clients on challenging workplace scenarios, support diverse workforce needs and adapt solutions to changing market demands. I have now had the full-circle opportunity to research, critique and develop the workplace policies, practices and contracts that I once executed as an HR practitioner. Together, this combined experience has taught me pragmatic skills on how to appropriately manage risk and advise clients accordingly - skills that I continue to develop and practice as an employment lawyer.
