Director, Citywide Teen Programs

• Provides leadership in areas of leadership development, civic engagement, recreation, and global service programs for middle school and high school age youth serving 7,000 youth yearly. • Responsible for all management aspects, supervision, and training of the following YMCA of Greater New York Programs: Teens take the City, Youth and Government, Leaders Club, Teen Center, and Global Teens. Approximate:70 sites in total. • Performs duties of program development, staff training, volunteer involvement, budget development, long term program participant tracking and evaluation, and fostering community partnerships. • Ensures the quality implementation and continuous improvement, and re-design of all curriculums. • Strengthens citywide program structure and retention of diverse dedicated and knowledge program staff.• Spearheads all planning and management of teen citywide events and related activities. 100+ youth service leadership, civic engagement, college access, international and domestic events including overnight retreats, and 10 day+ global and domestic service-learning trips. • Achieve budget goals and operating net margins.• Audits all teen program sites and ensures the maintenance of necessary paperwork in compliance with AO, DYCD and other public and provide funder requirements.• Creates, updates and re-designs all Teen program standards, registration forms and file requirements.• Serves as liaison between YMCA and community-based organizations including but not limited to, New York City Council and community and institutes of higher learning. •
