The trends and displays of live data helped determine when and how often the blasting is necessary to maintain the most efficient heat transfer through the boiler. • Integrated an alarm notification tool using Topview by Exele and the PI system to send out automated alerts to Plant Management personnel via email, text message or phone call to notify them of real time conditions at their facility. • Redesigned the Supervisor Reasonable Inquiry report at a number of facilities to efficiently use the supervisors time by incorporating the PI system to automatically populate numerical data for the shift and using the handheld devices to record the time and date of specific area inspections. The report, once completed, can then be automatically stored in a specified location and emailed to designated personnel.
