I have a somewhat eclectic mix of experience, having worked in healthcare and survey analytics for 20 years, then switching to residential remodeling! For my healthcare clients, I helped bring together a myriad of data sources using SAS, then calculated quality measures and other metrics to be displayed in a graphical, easy-to-interpret display to help them improve their quality, lower costs, and have a meaningful impact on people's lives. The longitudinal survey research project that I worked on entailed generating statistics to follow trends in young adult substance abuse.For the past 20+ years I have also been building and remodeling houses. As a licensed residential builder, I built up a portfolio of renovated homes and have tackled many construction projects as a project manager, designer, materials estimator, rough framer, finish carpenter, kitchen designer, and interior decorator. I love to see spaces transform from a vision to reality and create the perfect solution for quality, functionality, and green living.
