As a member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee, I represented student athletes at my school in a positive way, discussed and voted on NCAA legislation, relayed information between my team and SAAC, and participated in planning and executing SAAC events for my campus community.

Planned, organized, and executed community service and fundraising initiatives. Service events I have worked on include: regular food donations to the Amherst Survival Center, a 5K fundraising event supporting diversity and inclusion, a volunteer day at the Amherst College Farm, and a fundraiser event in support of local small business as well as two nonprofit organizations, The Black Women in Sports Foundation and The Black Feminist Project NYC.

As a graphic designer for the Student Activities Marketing Team, I designed posters and graphics with the goal of increasing event awareness and student engagement. I posted content in the Daily Mammoth, my school's online newspaper, to promote events on campus.

As an AD Club of New York fellow, I engaged in weekly "Lunch and Learn" meetings featuring guest speakers and professional development workshops.

-Learned about project management, strategy, marketing, and advertising. -Worked as a project management intern for my cross-functional team; planned and oversaw the creation of a campaign for a nonprofit organization.

As a marketing intelligence analyst for Facebook, I collected data such as engagement rates, audience demographics, and follower growth on 60 social media influencers. I observed influencer and market trends and especially focused on how trends changed in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. I created a presentation deck and video presentation of my findings for the Facebook Marketing Team.

While working in the service industry, I exercised my interpersonal skills by forming relationships with and ensuring exceptional experiences for customers. I also organized arrangements and reservations, tracked and estimated table availability, problem solved, and lent a helping hand to my coworkers whenever possible, in a very fast paced environment.
