• Reconcile and file around 100 sales and use tax returns monthly for 3 companies

Dallas/Fort Worth Area

I create and file the sales and use tax returns for different states along with filing IFTA, New Mexico Weight Distance and Louisiana ISF and TCT reports. I also work on assignment of right to refunds along with reconciliations of all our sales and use tax accounts.

I was the accountant for PDMS. I recorded transaction entries for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable along with processing invoices for both A/P and A/R. I cut checks for invoices, bills and expense reports, produced bank reconciliations, entered time sheets and filed invoices. I also helped update depreciation schedules, and entered all client.

I was a tutor for learning disability students who also attended Texas Tech. I helped tutor subjects that covered from accounting to other business, math and science classes.
