A Mechanical Engineering PhD candidate, studying Carbon Storage in oceanic sediment. My research focuses on Direct Numerical Simulation of single and multiphase flows. This research has enhanced and elevated my skills in C++ programming, High Performance Computing and CFD simulations (OpenFoam). During my time as a PhD student I have also been a Lab Demonstrator and a teaching assistant to classes with over a 100 students.Previously, I Graduated from Heriot Watt University in 2019 with a BEng (Hons) first class degree. My thesis was titled The Effect of Radiator Positioning on Aerodynamic Drag in Road Vehicles, in which I gained invaluable knowledge on turbulence modelling, flow analysis and drag optimisation techniques.
