Key roles and responsibilities:• Develop the territorial water management strategy in coordination with other stakeholders.• Review and ensure that studies, plans, and/or reports submitted by applicants are consistent with sound environmental and engineering principles.• Assess the need for studies and technical data in support of licence applications.• Coordinate with federal, territorial and local governments, Regional Inuit Associations and citizens of Nunavut for technical, logistical and administrative support on water use and waste disposal licence applications.• Liaise with Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada (CIRNAC) on issues related to the enforcement of water licences.

Key roles and responsibilities:• Completed the hydraulic analysis and design for water supply projects using EPANET for 10 electoral sub-divisions.• Estimated the quantity and costs, and prepared engineering drawings in AutoCAD for water supply projects.• Performed hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, and worked on land development for 776 ha of Lumbini heritage site.• Prepared feasibility and field report of 1215 km road for the Rural Connectivity and Improvement Project by the Asian Development Bank.

Project: Revitalizing Public Spaces of Bungamati after Gorkha Earthquake 2015 implemented by UN-HABITAT• Compiled the technical specifications and prepared structural drawings using AutoCAD for 5 residential houses.• Surveyed in Bungamati for enhancement of open public spaces and identification of possible rainwater harvesting sites.• Prepared informational documents and flyers for the promotion of green buildings.

Internship on ‘Rainwater Harvesting and Groundwater Recharge in Kathmandu Valley’• Prepared information materials on rainwater harvesting and groundwater recharging that were presented to project partners.
