Chris and his team drive a cohesive strategy across AWS and broader Amazon to deliver the best possible value for partners and customers.In his first 10 years at Amazon, Chris built and led the Global Systems Integrators (field sales and partner organizations), SAP, Oracle, VMware, Management Consulting & Advisory, and Private Equity teams around the world. He grew AWS’s GSI business from inception to $10B+ annual run rate, primarily focused on industry specific growth initiatives which led to his current role establishing AWS’s first Industry and Global Partner Solutions team.Prior to joining Amazon, Chris held direct sales and executive leadership positions at VMware and other large high-tech and “start-up” companies spanning the Cloud, Software, Security, Networking, and Hardware Infrastructure industries.Chris holds an MBA from the University of Chicago with degrees in both Finance and Marketing, and a degree in Business/Finance from the University of Illinois.
