About Nigel Skinner
Dr. Skinner graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2004. After working as an associate veterinarian at different Toronto clinics, Dr. Skinner acquired Kew Beach Veterinary Hospital in 2007. As owner and medical director of KBVH he has led the practice to first become accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association and then in 2011 to place third in their Accredited Practice of the Year award. In 2008 Dr. Skinner trained in a minimally invasive Laparoscopic Spay. At Kew Beach Veterinary Hospital he became the first veterinarian in Toronto to offer this procedure. Along with an interest in canine and feline internal medicine, abdominal and soft tissue surgery, Dr. Skinner has a very special interest in minimally invasive procedures. He has trained other Toronto clinicians in the Laparoscopic spay technique and wishes to continue to share his knowledge and experience to expand the practice of minimally invasive surgical procedures in veterinary medicine.www.kewbeachvets.com
