Co-Executive Director
Current-Develop and build partnerships in the areas of funding, policy, education, culture and community-Work with the board to design and complete strategic business plan for the organization.-Develop, maintain, and support a strong Board of Directors: serve as ex-officio of each committee, seek and build board involvement with strategic direction for ongoing operations .-Develop, maintain, and support a strong Board of Directors by recognizing their contributions to the organization. Assist the Board in identifying and recruiting prospective new members.-Provide agenda and presentation packets for Board Meetings.-Engage a wide range of stakeholders and cultures, working effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people including funders and civic leaders-Actively engage and energize volunteers, board members, partner organizations, donors and funders.-Create and maintain annual budgets, forecasts, and goals.-Expand revenue generating and fundraising activities to support existing program operations and expansion while simultaneously working toward retiring any debt. Monitor funding and donor fluctuations.-Deepen and refine all aspects of communications, especially on social media platforms – both internally and externally – with the goal of creating a stronger brand.-Use external presence and relationships to garner new opportunities. Serve as a local and national representative that publishes and communicates program results with an emphasis on the success of the organization.-Maintain strong ties with New York City cultural and educational industries.
