3D Artist
Primarily responsible for the shading, lighting, rendering and compositing of animated content for online games and game trailers, using Blender, Maya and V-ray. Pipeline tools have also been developed using Python to automate the flow of granulated data between the various areas within our team. Not my primary area of focus, but if I see a need, I fill a need. I'm also heavily involved in aligning the small team with animation studio best practices and implementing efficient workflows to improve productivity.

I was tasked with overseeing our transition from Renderman 19 and REYES to Renderman 21 and RIS. This included identifying and solving optimization challenges, developing lighting, shading and rendering strategies, character and environment look development as well as workflow scripting in Python. Master scenes were created for environments, characters and props for easy scene assembly, lighting and rendering. Slap comps with further look development were prepared in Nuke for our composting department as well. Once again I worked side by side with my Lighting TD to further optimize the performance of the lighting department, while developing the junior team with the knowledge gained during our R&D stage to improve their productivity. 2015-2016:Responsible for the building, troubleshooting, look development and lighting of scenes on an animated television show using Maya 2015 and Pixar Renderman 19, in a high pressure environment with quick turnaround times. I'm also in constant conversation with the Lighting TD, looking for ways to integrate workflows and techniques into our current pipeline to streamline processes and help produce consistent results from the department.
Project Lead
I have worked at Clockwork for the past 8 and a half years. I started out as a modeler, but evolved into a CG Generalist, with tasks including, but not limited to lighting, texturing, animatics, look development and finaling. For the last year I have taken on a more senior role as Project Lead on a few commercials, leading a global team of remote artists, such as myself, and taking a board from animatic to final. It is a position I am still new to, and growing into, but I wish to pursue it further.
