I work closely with specifiers, builders' merchants, and installers to ensure that every construction project benefits from our robust, sustainable honeycomb product that prevents slab uplift while reducing the need for costly steel reinforcements.Key Achievements:• Spearheaded the growth of Clayboard as the go-to solution for ground heave protection, securing partnerships with major construction firms, architects, and engineers.• Developed strong relationships with builders’ merchants, ranging from single-branch operations to large, multi-branch organisations with over £500m turnover, ensuring consistent availability and quick lead times.• Led technical consultations with specifiers and installers to deliver solutions tailored to their unique project needs, from small-scale residential builds to major commercial developments.• Played a key role in improving product lead times, offering rapid quotations and off-the-shelf availability, making Clayboard the preferred choice for many of our clients over more traditional solutions like polystyrene.My role is more than just technical management - I’m passionate about helping construction professionals find smarter, more sustainable solutions that meet legislative demands, reduce costs, and keep projects moving.
