 Acted as a change agent who actively identifies projects across all business units to implement continuous improvement projects. Ensure end-to-end (E2E) oversight and effectiveness of the Quality systems that are operational in nature. These includes but not limited to Non Conformity Management, Destruction, Product Safety, Internal Audits, Training and Material Review System across the network.  Quality rejects reduced from $7.5M cumulative to $3.7M which also translates in reject % drop from 1.55% down to projected number of 0.78% - 49.6%, 21.5% reduction in overall NCRs created by the sites (Non-Conformance Report)  P&L Write off and reserves COGs bucket improved by $4.2 YOY $12.2M to $8M  Major improvement on the visibility and performance of the key Quality systems such as : The overdue site CCRs reduced to 17% from the 65% , Deviation and CAPA systems visibility through reporting has been enabled, Training system has been deployed in Corporate Quality Functions. Because of the quarterly trend assessment and action plan program put in place, the target days for the OOS were reduced to 21 days from 30 business days. .  PSD Project: Picked up the project with the worst ever PSD projections since 2017 at $34M, through the project was able to bring the projections down to all time low to $15,1M through August with $14M projection for FY21. Through August the P&L write-off/reserve is at $30.7M, out of this $10.2M is due to NPIs, the project would have been very close to $21M target if it wasn’t for the NPI.  Worked with accounting to define additional rules for reserves to increase the visibility and as a result implemented Quarterly Obsolesce review process.  Completed the FMEA exercises for Packaging Labelling process and Continuous Probiotic processes. Identified and mitigated various cost avoidance projects delivering couple million-dollar cost avoidance throughout the time in the position.

Pending destruction average days reduced over 70%, down to 18-20 days. Cleaned up over $800k inventory lingering in the destruction workflow due to user errors in the workflow.  Completed RMVR (Raw Material Vendor Requalification) System improvements to make it more user friendly, efficient, and compliant. Reduced the number of RMVRs over 80% and supported Procurement cost savings project, weekly meetings have been established with the RMVR team. Over 200 materials have been addressed through pre-RMVR tracker with potential cost savings over $5M. Materials over $2.8M savings have been approved through the system.
