Nikita is a visual communication designer, photographer, and videographer from Astana, Kazakhstan, currently residing in Espoo, Finland. His background is in Aeronautical Engineering and Industrial Management, though he has always been passionate about the arts. He gained most of his artistic knowledge independently and through private courses. Currently, he is pursuing a Master’s degree in Visual Communication Design at Aalto University.Currently Nikita is a freelance visual communication designer and he specializes in visual identities, editorial design, posters, animations, and social media graphics, working primarily with artists, cultural institutions, and researchers. Additionally, he is a part-time video producer at Tampere University and a founding member of the Tampere Intercultural Art Artists' Cooperative in Finland.Nikita’s posters have received recognition in various international competitions in Poland, the USA, South Korea, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru. In 2021 one of Nikita's visual identity projects was shortlisted for Young Creatives award in Vuoden Huiput (annual graphic design award in Finland) His artistic work often combines collages created from processed photos or graphics with experimental typography. His latest passions include type design, animation, and generative design.
