The software makes aVR environment into a working environment where data flow programming can bedone. The software runs with a HPC Back-end and enables collaboration over the bigdata visualization platform between multiple environments (VR and non VR).• Demoed the software in SuperComputing2017 (SC17) Conference and was extremelywell received with many praises and appreciation.• Supporting effective adoption of existing software and hardware for VR/AR.• Serving as a technical liaison between staff and students, faculty, departments andindustry groups.• Coordinating with the manager and collaborators to oversee activities including grantapplications and special projects.• Overseeing and providing direct technical contributions to the maintenance andoperation of computers, servers, network, storage, and displays.

• Started as a Summer-Intern in 2009 to learn about ParaView. During this time Iimplemented modules for run-time introspection, automatic detection of multi-corearchitecture and auto-starting MPI based parallel mode into ParaView. Alsoincorporated MPI4Py into ParaView• Contributed to other Open-Source projects at Kitware including the VisualizationToolkit (VTK), ParaView, DaxToolkit (which is a library for exascale computinggeneralizing CPU and GPGPU computation) and the TitanToolkit (which is aninformatics toolkit).• Developed a mobile Augmented Reality (AR) application in Android to track locationsof people in an augmented space. The app auto-aligns itself with the earths surface(NEWS axis) using gravity sensors, magnetometers and GPS coordinates. It displayedtracked avatars at relative locations in the augmented space on mobile display.• Original author of KiwiViewer and VES. KiwiViewer is a mobile (IOS and Android)application for viewing scientific data-sets. VES is a small back-end scene graph forKiwiViewer.• Author of the VR-Plugin in ParaView. ParaView is a an Open Source ScientificVisualization Toolkit and the VR-Plugin enables scientists using the software tovisualize their data seamlessly on VR Environments like CAVE, Tiles walls etc. VRenvironments typically have tracked inputs like tracked stereo glasses, wand,game-pads etc. Users can specify various devices and interaction styles in the Pluginalong with having the ability to configure various display configurations.• Contracted with School of Energy Resources (SER)in the University of Wyoming tohelp in setting up their CAVE, Mini-CAVE and Tile Walls with ParaView and othervisualization software. My role other than doing software development has to engagescientists and other researchers at the University to start using VR environments forscientific and educational purposes

• Worked as an RA on anti-virus research project to classify known computer virusesbased on information retrieval techniques like TF-IDF and Cosine similarity.• Teaching Assistant for courses like Programming Languages and Artificial NeuralNetworks.• Worked on research projects using Reinforcement Learning (Machine Learning) andArtificial Neural Networks to model the functionality of Basal Ganglia (a brain regionfor working memory and motor control). HandVU is a library to detect and recognizenatural hand gestures. Demonstrated my application in IEEEVR 2009.• Was one of the members of the Cybertools Student Programming team participating inSC09 Programming Contest.• Wrote a VRJuggler client for ParaView while working on EPSCOR Cybertools Projectto explore high-end visualization in VR Environments and cyberinfrastructure overLONI (Louisiana Optical Network Initiative). VRJuggler is a library which helps bringany desktop based application into virtual environments.• Research - Under Dr. Carolina Cruz-Neira (one of the Pioneers of VR and inventor ofthe CAVE Automatic Virtual Environment) and Dr. Dirk Reiners (original author ofOpenSG scenegraph library).
