Nikhil was responsible for managing the Calypso Credit Derivatives Trading system. His additional responsibilities included COB planning, Disaster Recovery, DevSecOps and Release Management.

Nikhil led delivery for the Global Confirmation System spread over US, London, Tokyo and Mumbai. The system interfaced with many internal Equity and Fixed Income systems and externally with DTC, Thomson Oasys, FIX.Nikhil joined as an Analyst and was promoted over the years to the VP position. During the years he managed software delivery to the Japanese Trading Floor in Tokyo, Online Trade Management System for transmitting trades to DTC and the NYSE Automation project - Equity Trade Capture / Ticketing.

Nikhil created X windows 11 based prototype design for the company's product 'ADS' - which was till then a form oriented database management system, using C, X Windows 11 on Unix

Nikhil was part of the team that led the implementation of the X windows system 11 onto a Godrej Unix workstation that was launched in the Indian market as a high end graphics workstation.
