What I know about myself: I'm here to help others by solving problems & bringing kindness to all interactions. I love the fast-paced nature of the insurance industry; we’re constantly evolving. I'm a natural connector, and bringing people together and introducing them to the resources they need to be successful is a source of great joy for me.What I Bring to the Table: I love learning and sharing what I learn with others. If I'm going to do something, I will only do it well, and that means becoming a subject matter expert. I lead with empathy and encourage people to explore all angles before making a decision. Building up others is the best way to build up yourself and I strive to be the person that boosts confidence in the people around me. What I Know to be True: I'm an eternal optimist. My glass is always half full and I know that you can change your life by changing your perspective. I believe gratitude is the most powerful way to gain perspective and ultimately, find happiness. I believe kindness is the best accolade. Someday, when they write my obituary, I hope they say I was kind. Lastly, I believe if more world leaders spent 20 minutes every day riding their bicycles and recognizing the beauty around them, the world would be a better place with less war and more compassion. Why Communication is Key: In this rapidly evolving world of remote work, it's very easy to lose the message behind the words. So much is "said" through our non-verbal communication: tone, expression, body language. If we can't communicate with others, we can't express ourselves, overcome challenges, and grow as individuals. Teamwork, collaboration, leadership. None are possible without communication and honing this skill will allow others to follow.
