After 20 years’ in-house experience of both adult and children’s publishing, including eleven years at Puffin and six years at Penguin, I began working as a freelance proofreader/copyeditor in 2010. My specialisms are proofreading and copyediting. I have worked on fiction and non-fiction titles for all ages, from children's picture books to young adult and adult. I take on proofreading, marking up text for reissue, anglicizing, collating and basic indexing. I have never missed a deadline and am happy to consider projects at short notice.
