Prior to this, I was a recruitment Resourcer for the Professional team within Contract Scotland. We would deal with positions ranging from Graduate to Director level for disciplines such as Civil Design Engineers and Technicians, Structural Design Engineers and Technicians , Highways & Bridge Engineers, Designer Site Representatives, Geotechnical Engineers, Cost Mangers/PQS, Building Surveyors, Client Project Managers, Inspectors, M&E Design and detailing as well as many others. My role was split as I also dealt with International requirements. Since 2007, we have been dealing with opportunities in Australia, Canada and New Zealand. · Taking inbound calls · Conducting telephone interviews · Booking applicants in for assessment dates · Co-ordinating who does what for the next day. First point of contact for all candidates interested in working for HEROtsc. Reviewing, short listing and screening external candidates as per campaign and recruitment guidelines. Updating and maintaining records on our recruitment system. Communicating and updating candidates of their progress within the recruitment process using email, text and phone as necessaryI have recently been able to visit different sites within the company to gain a better understanding of the different campaigns that we have as a company. I have also sat in on interviews on my own time to get experience and gain a better understanding of the full recruitment process.
