Co-led the Journal's global coverage of business, helping oversee teams of reporters around the world covering tech, media, entertainment, retail, restaurants and more. Lead a cross-department team dedicated to coverage of race and business, and shape our coverage of gender and equality, launching and writing a weekly newsletter on gender. Work closely with newsroom strategy teams on digital initiatives and enterprise.

In this masthead role, created a brand-new newsroom department leading the Journal's global events and special reports teams, working with journalists, producers, designers and commercial partners around the world to grow our events and evolve our live coverage and explanatory journalism. Worked with business-side colleagues on multimillion-dollar projects and successfully launched new event and journalism brands inside WSJ.

I led the Journal's growing coverage of management, working with my team in New York and with Journal reporters across the globe on news stories, enterprise projects and special reports. In 2016 I proposed and launched an expanded weekly report in print, along with a new daily digital and video destination, working with product, marketing and ad teams to outline new designs, format and promotion. Relaunched the Boss Talk interview series with engaging social video, and lead Women in the Workplace, an annual report and event with McKinsey & Co. and LeanIn.Org.

-Launched and ran the digital news operation for the Journal's daily metro section;-Assigned and edited breaking news coverage for the section and Metropolis blog;-Worked with freelancers to develop story ideas into features for all platforms;-Managed daily video and web production for section;-Developed and created specs for brand-new New York news section on WSJ.com, working with design and product teams as well as external media partners.

Greater New York City Area

-Managed, assigned and edited online Personal Finance coverage for WSJ.com through the financial crisis.-Created "The End of Wall Street" video documentary, an oral history of the financial crisis and the Journal's first long-form video project; -Worked with reporters to speed coverage and respond quickly to breaking news during the financial crisis;-Managed the Journal's relationships with content partners/licensees, including Yahoo!, MSN and Fidelity;-Pitched daily stories to Yahoo! homepage editors.

Miami/Fort Lauderdale Area

-Created Miami.com, premier visitor and local information site about events, dining, shopping, recreation and nightlife;-Managed a staff and freelancers to produce and populate the site with daily features, photo and video;-Created features, stories and columns;-Assigned and edited stories and columns from staff and freelance contributors;-Covered criminal courts, local government and wrote front page enterprise stories on life, corruption and oddities in South Florida.

-Edited Library Technology Reports and Library Systems Newsletter;-Launched site for library technology publications, and started news site about digital library systems.
