Hey everyone! My name is Nikko Colon, born in the Big Apple; New York City, and raised in Orlando, Florida. I graduated from the International Baccalaureate Program (IB) at the age of 17, I have a passion for learning and teaching / mentoring as well. I started working at the age of 16 for Wendy’s as a fry cook, I became a shift manager at the age of 18 (youngest ever in the district!!!!) and since then I was also supervisor for Gap Inc., until I relocated BACK to New York City and left the retail clothing scene and moved to food and beverage sales, where I gained more hands on experience in sales and improved my speaking skills as a server, bartender, and certified trainer for Darden! Since then, I have done some work at Target, as a Team Lead (manager), until finding my home at Paylocity! I am fluent in English and Spanish and also conversational in Italian. My favorite hobbies include basketball and video games and learning useless facts I’ll never need in life. (which I rarely have time for) I may be young, but I am undeniably driven toward success! I am extremely goal oriented and hold myself accountable to some pretty high standards. I know what I am capable of and I love to prove that as often as possible. I take pride in my work and hope to make an impact in others lives through my actions and interactions. I love challenging myself and learning new skills. I would like to explore the best opportunities for a better future!
