Spark.me is one of the most carefully curated tech/business conferences in Southeast Europe. The conference has been organised annually in Budva, Montenegro since 2013, by Domain.Me, a private company which is in charge of Montenegro's national internet domain - .ME. Spark.me brings stories from the front lines of disruptive technological solutions, innovative business models, engaging marketing strategies, and world-changing initiatives, presented by some of the world’s most influential thinkers and brands.Nikola has managed the startup competition from its inception in 2013. The Spark.me stage continuously welcomes top startups from the region and all over the world, that go on to present themselves at TechCrunch Disrupt Startup Alley.

The Internet Society (ISOC) is a global cause-driven organization governed by a diverse Board of Trustees that is dedicated to ensuring that the Internet stays open, transparent and defined by the people. ISOC works to ensure the Internet continues to grow and evolve as a platform for innovation, economic development, and social progress for people around the world.Nikola is the founder and current vice president of the Montenegro ISOC chapter.

The Youth Innovation Lab in Montenegro, called „Kreaktivator“, is a UNICEF initiative funded by ING, and implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Directorate of Youth and Sports and NGO Digitalizuj.me. The Lab offers space, tools, opportunities and programmes which will enable young people to develop and implement solutions to the challenges they face, gain support for realisation of their aspirations, gain social and emotional skills, as well as use participation tools to influence decision-making processes. As the Coordinator of the Lab, Nikola has:● Coordinated necessary activities preceding the launch of the lab.● Created strategies for Lab development as well as managed day-to-day activities.● Coordinated many UPSHIFT Social Impact workshops - which are currently organized in only two other countries in the world. The success of the programme motivated UNICEF to expand it across the globe.● Helped youth and adolescents develop community initiatives and social entrepreneurship projects.

Nikola is a consultant mostly working in the fields of organizational behaviour and development, innovation and management. He has worked with corporations, government institutions and international organizations. Some featured projects include:● Platform for trans-Academic Cooperation in INNOvation (PACINNO) - IPA Adriatic Cross Border Cooperation.● UNDP Montenegro. Project manager for the project “Open ideas for Montenegro”. Among others, the initative launched the application “Be Responsible” which was awarded first prize of the National Association of Government Communicators of the United States (NAGC) in the field of mobile communications and second prize at Open Government Partnerships.● TEMPUS project – Implementing new programmes. Project administrator for the consortium of Faculty of Economics Podgorica, the KTH Royal Institute of Technology Stockholm and Abo Akademi University. In charge of communicating and negotiating with corporate representatives from companies such as Microsoft, Oracle, KPMG and Telenor.● Telecommunications agency of Montenegro - Introducing 3G Technology in Montenegro. Joint leader on the project that resulted in the introduction of 3G technology in Montenegro. The report was approved by EU Commission representatives, introduced a third mobile operator to Montenegro and the state profited 22 million euros in licenses and fees, almost 2.5 times more than the asking price.

The leading economics and management education institution in Montenegro with 5,000 undergraduate and graduate students. Nikola has taught Organizational Behaviour, Theory of the Firm and Management of Small and Medium Enterprises.

At the time, Telebasket was the biggest basketball website in Europe. Nikola worked as the executive editor of the Yugoslav basketball section, and as a reporter from the Olympic Games in Sydney in 2000, the European Championships in Turkey in 2001 and the Euroleague games in the seasons 1999/00, 2000/01 and 2001/02.
