I am a psychotherapist and counsellor with a BASc in Applied Psychology from the University of Derby. I provide online counselling psychotherapy to adults who suffer from mood and anxiety disorders, such as depression, bipolar, PTSD, panic attacks, agoraphobia, social anxiety, stress, and fear. I have been working in this role since Oct 2022, and I have also completed a four-month traineeship at Aktios Elderly Care, where I gained valuable experience in working with older adults and their caregivers.In my current role, I use data profiling and risk assessment skills to evaluate the needs and preferences of my clients, and to design personalized and evidence-based treatment plans. I also use mental health counselling skills to establish rapport, trust, and empathy with my clients, and to help them cope with their challenges, improve their well-being, and achieve their goals. I am passionate about supporting people who struggle with mental health issues, and I am committed to continuous learning and professional development. I believe that I can bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as I have a multicultural background and I have worked with clients from different walks of life. I am also flexible, adaptable, and resilient, as I have successfully adapted to the online mode of service delivery and the changing needs of the clients during the pandemic.
