I worked as a research manager and a usability specialist for the Microsoft Windows Phone platform. I was responsible for the end user experience and usability of new technology solutions from early concepts to detailed development. My tasks included participating in daily design work, planning and organizing user research, concept testing, and usability evaluations in international key markets, and managing a network of research partners.Achievements:- As a senior member of User Experience Design team, I created the design and vision for several Lumia applications and services released during 2012–2016, including Iris authentication, Touch and Gesture based interactions, Voice user interfaces, and Always on sensing technologies.- Responding to the need for faster innovation cycles, I developed and defined Lean methods for iterative concept development and lightweight design concept testing, and organized coaching for other development teams.

I defined design processes and established practices for early user involvement and continuous learning.

In my role as a usability specialist and a research manager for MeeGo and Maemo software platforms, my tasks included daily usability and design consultation, coordinating and organizing user studies, collecting and analyzing post-sales consumer feedback, and managing a network of subcontractors. During 2011, I held a role of User Interface Design Coach and joined the user experience design management team. In this role, I led and coached a team of interaction designers and visual designers in their daily work. I was responsible for initiating and driving design changes and task forces, creative guidance and leadership, and release planning and feature prioritization.Achievements: - Design award winning Nokia N9 smartphone released in 2011: I was part of the design team who created the new user interface, and I was promoted as a Design Coach in the middle of the project to ensure successful product finalization. - Supporting the design and development of the Nokia N9 platform, I coordinated and managed a continuous usability testing process, which served as an intensive user data source and efficient enabler for design evaluation and validation.
