My current job has included several different areas: I have been working as a Product Manager, Go To Market Manager and Program Manager. I have been occupied with the customer facing areas as unboxing the product, how to take the product in use an what are the possible problems that the customers are facing and how we can can help the customer with any of those issues. I have also been helping our subcontractor on the production related issues, quality and productivity. I have traveled several times to the subcontractor's manufacturing site to help in possible issues at first hand. In Go To Market area I have been the link between the Product Program and the Sales and Marketing team to get the product out in time. I have been involved in the product programs also in "fire fighting" mode and I have ran there where ever is needed the most.

Finland

In this role in a startup company, I was responsible of planning and tracking the product development work in co-operation with the subcontractors. I had also a responsibility of bringing the product to the mass production and following the manufacturing during the product lifetime. My duties included working with the customers in piloting phase and when the new solution was taken into use.

In these roles I have been a team leader for hardware (HW) & mechanics team in the product program. I have been responsible of communication between the product program management, HW and mechanics team about the achievements, risks and possible problems. I have taken care of product development schedule planning and driven the product on time to market. I have taken care of the wellbeing of the team members. My biggest achievements in these roles have been the Lumia 640XL execution and ramp up in time with 7 HW variants and ramp up support for Lumia 950 and 950XL.

As Product Development Manager I was team leader for HW & mechanics team on the product program and in product maintenance phase. I was responsible of communication between the program management, other disciplines and HW and mechanics team about the achievements and risks and possible problems. I took care of the wellbeing of the team members. Product maintenance activities included actions with the team based on field feedback, factory feedback and sourcing feedback. My biggest achievement during these years was handling the maintenance issues for several programs (10 different Symbian phones and Lumia 920). Lumia 920 was the biggest challenge of all of those maintenance products. Also Lumia 925 and Lumia 1520 ramp ups and Lumia 640XL successful concept were achieved.

As Hardware (HW) Team Leader and Baseband (BB) Project Manager I was a team leader for HW professionals in the product program. My biggest achievement during these years were Nokia E75 and Nokia 5730 XpressMusic HW tasks execution and ramp up in parallel and Nokia C6-00 HW execution and ramp up on time.

As engineering manager I was a line manager for the RF team inside the HW department. I took care of the RF resourcing in the product programs, annual feedback and performance development rounds to team members and annual salary increases if applicable. Biggest challenge during this time was one of the consultation rounds as a line manager with resource reduction needs.

As a BB project Manager in 2004, I was a team leader for HW professionals in the product program. My biggest achievements as a BB Project Manager were the rest of Nokia 6820 HW responsibilities and a lot of HW studies with Symbian and MeeGo products.
