Sri Lankan Australian singer, composer and educator. Born in Sri Lanka and raised in Melbourne, I relocated to New York City from 2017-2020 and performed extensively with musical/activist group - Resistance Revival Chorus. I have performed at Carnegie Hall, The Barclay Centre, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, The Apollo Theater, The Lincoln Centre for Women in the World Summit, Jazz at Lincoln Centre, National Sawdust, Rockwood Music Hall, Summer Stage at Central Park, Spotify, TEDx Talks among many others.I have performed with Hugh Jackman, Harry Connick Jnr, Angelique Kidjo, Amanda Palmer, Natalie Merchant, Tones and I, Meshell Ndegeocello, Rita Ora, Dannii Minogue, Tina Arena and performed for Oprah Winfrey, Harry Belafonte and Hillary Clinton.A passionate educator with over 20 years of experience and dedicated to amplifying the voices of diverse women and girls, I have taught voice and directed choirs at some of Australia’s leading Universities and Colleges. I am concurrently the Intersectional Feminist Workshops Facilitator & Coordinator at IWDA. The workshops I lead are grounded intersectional feminist principles and frameworks that help create cultures of care and resilience in organizations and businesses.
