As a consultant from G-KnowMe, provided program management for the development of the Manthan Platform. This ambitious international project aims to democratize and significantly increase funding for research and innovations in emerging technologies and thematic areas with a strong social impact. My specific contributions to this project include:1. Facilitating the RFP process, resulting in successful vendor selection; followed by vendor management, ensuring smooth collaboration and delivery.2. Engaging with stakeholders from government, industry, and academia to solidify the business requirements for the platform. 3. Conducting comprehensive technical reviews of the platform's architecture and high-level design. Manthan platform successfully went live on August 15, 2022. This platform is poised to make a transformative impact in the field of research and innovation, fostering positive change and progress.

As a consultant from G-KnowMe, led the development and adoption of digital platform that provides an indigenous marketplace of the kits, reagents and the components needed for COVID 19 testing as part of Indigenisation of Diagnostics (InDx), anchored at Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms (CCAMP). Engaged with the industry partners and academia to put together the requirements and worked with the vendor (TCS) to develop and deploy the same.

Delivery of affordable and equitable health-care is a big public health challenge in India. Our vision is to use technology supported interventions to make good quality healthcare available to all. Conducted a dozen cancer screening camps in Rural Bangalore over a period of two years to develop the blueprint of a technology supported, scalable early screening program for breast, ovarian and oral cancer.OmDisha is now called G-KnowMe. G-KnowMe is taking forward the development of technology elements needed to take this effort forward.

Established a new Artificial Intelligence (AI) vertical within the company and defined the overall AI strategy. Took charge of building a highly skilled team of 20+ engineers specialized in Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing using the cutting edge deep learning approaches to execute this vision. Initiated several impactful projects that made a significant contribution to the company's growth and AI capabilities. Some of these projects include:* A deep learning based solution for Face Recognition, running on on an Edge Device, enabling efficient and accurate face recognition in resource-constrained environments.* Development of an Android application that utilized on-device classification of camera images using Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) and transfer learning, enhancing real-time image analysis capabilities.* Class Activation Maps to gain insights into CNN models and localize important features in images, particularly in the context of medical applications.* Leveraged Auto-encoders and language models, specifically LSTMs, for efficient classification of system logs, significantly reducing the time required for failure analysis.

Managed the launch and operations of Next Generation Sequencing(NGS) based diagnostics tests in India and US. Led development of a web based platform to share microscopy images and analysis algorithms in collaboration with Institut Curie(France). This software is now released to the open source community as openImaDis. Used this platform to prototype a vendor neutral web-based interface for browsing digital pathology images.Led efforts for curating scientific publications, public databases to mine information on mutations and their linkage to drugs, diseases and prognosis. Developed a software platform to effectively support this curation.

Created an interactive dashboard that compared opinions and sentiments expressed on the web around specific consumer products using a Natural Language Processing based pipeline.Developed a text mining based solution to mine and summarize competitive intelligence from news feeds.Supported development of GeneSpring, a bioinformatics analysis and visualisation platform.

Led software development of Sarchitect, a comprehensive platform for modeling and predicting drug-relevant properties of molecules in silico using machine learning approach.Automated the pipeline for building machine learning models using smart feature selection techniques. Implemented and tested several machine learning algorithms e.g. Random Forests. Used Ensemble of models approach to win Runner's Up prize in KDD2006.

Contributed several statistical and machine learning algorithms to Strand’s AVADIS®platform that are now part of market leading products such as GeneSpring® and Mass Profiler Pro.

Developed Software Architecture Specification for GPRS functionality to enable data services in C-GSM product.

Designed, developed & tested Radio Resource Control (RRC) procedures in the non-access stratum of the UMTS (3G).

Designed, developed & tested the L2CAP layer of the Bluetooth Protocol Stack. Enhanced & tested the Link Access Protocol (LAPSat) & Radio Resource (RR) Management layer software of the User Terminal Simulator for ICO satellite system. Validated the LAPSat & Mobility Management (MM) layer of the ICO Satellite Air Interface. ICO air interface protocols are based on GSM.
