I am that person who always tries to find the positive in a situation. I love to talk with people and come up with solutions for the things that bother them on a personal level. Naturally I am an introvert which causes me to be very observant, focused and a good listener. I use these strengths to be able to get on a person’s level in order to be able to solve the issue they may be facing. I’ve started my enrollment process at HACC to get my Associates in Human Services. Currently I am creating a course called “Back To Basics” which assists single parents who have endured emotional/verbal abuse and abandonment regain confidence, find healing and peace. As someone who has dealt with emotional abuse previously I understand how difficult it can be to find yourself again. I would love to have the opportunity to help others find their peace and healing in the midst of emotional trauma.Previously I’ve worked in customer service positions for most of my professional years. Throughout these positions I’ve learned a lot about myself and others. I realized that I love finding a solution for someone and then seeing their relieved reaction as a result. I am also a creative person and I love to write slam poetry, short stories and songs. I would love to get into acting and create short films that could be used to inspire and heal young adults who have experienced trauma in their lives.
