Growing up on a farm in the great Pacific Northwest has naturally developed my strong enthusiasm for coffee, mountains, and small business. These interests partnered with a deep desire to support the growth and development of the people around me, has led me to obtain a degree in Business Administration. Pursuing my studies and work simultaneously has allowed me to participate in the translation of book knowledge to real life application. Through many past leadership opportunities, I have come to realize the importance of learning by doing. This outlook led me to British Columbia, which has provided me with a beautifully dynamic environment to support my adventurous nature as I am always exploring new opportunities whether its a nearby hike, unique job opportunity or trying obscure cuisine. Studying Business Administration in Canada has enhanced my worldview of people, culture, and business while opening doors to tour businesses and study internationally in China as well as intern on Parliament Hill in Ontario, Canada. My diverse background of job experience in customer service, leadership, and farmwork has instilled a strong work ethic and many skills such as organization, event planning, and overall readiness to adapt to the situation at hand. By way of many years playing basketball and in recent years running and doing triathlons, I have learned just how rewarding perseverance and commitment can be. I find life in discovering the intersection between my passion of business and serving others.
