Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of learning and engagement programs offered by the Phoenix Zoo, specifically for teen and young adult audiences (ages 13-25). The Youth Engagement team's mission is to build the next generation of conservation stewards and advocates by providing young people from all backgrounds the opportunity to connect with nature and participate in meaningful educational, professional and career-building experiences.In September 2023, I launched the Phoenix Zoo's first-ever Youth Advisory Council, the Trailblazers. Youth Advisory Councils play a pivotal role in promoting youth participation, amplifying youth voices and shaping decisions that impact young people. By valuing and including the perspectives of youth, the Phoenix Zoo can create more inclusive, accessible and effective programs and opportunities for ages 13 and up.

The mission of the Encanto-Palmcroft Historic Preservation Association is to promote the preservation of the historic Encanto-Palmcroft neighborhood and enhance the quality of life within and around the neighborhood.

I assist in the development, coordination, and execution of monthly events for families in a neighborhood of approximately 330 homes, with a focus on developing engaging activities for ages 0-15. In this role I also design and develop print and digital marketing materials and present updates on events, attendance, and budget to the Board at monthly meetings.

Performance audits are designed to determine whether an agency is achieving the objectives established by the Legislature and managing its resources in an effective, economical, and efficient manner. These audits focus on programs and issues that are of particular interest to legislators and the public and make recommendations to improve agency operations. Audits are conducted at the request of the Joint Legislative Audit Committee or under the provision of various laws, including Arizona’s Sunset Law, which mandates scheduled periodic review of state agencies.
