A founding member of the Multi-Manager business at BNP Paribas Asset Management (BNP PAM). This venture was essentially a start-up within BNP PAM. Today, it is one of the largest Multi-Managers in the world.- Implemented and subsequently directed business and investment activities including strategy & analysis, product design, business development, marketing, commercial negotiations etc.- Built, developed and led a multidisciplinary team of 10.- Contributed significantly to all asset-raising efforts. AUMs went from $300m in 2002 to over $30bn in 2006. Held regular client meetings, formal business pitches, roadshows around EMEA; Participated in RFPs; Presented at industry events.- Worked on a board-level project for the acquisition of a US-based firm by BNP PAM. Produced all required documentation, plus detailed scenario analyses, costings and marketing materials showing the value offering of the acquisition. - Proactively drove the development, launch and marketing of new products

This team was a small, independent $350m entity within BPL; it had recently been purchased from the small Swiss bank Adamas and comprised 3 Senior Hedge Fund Managers & 17 other professional staffThe role included active participation in decision-making & risk management; co-ordinating all research & market analysis; maintaining existing client relationships; identifying & developing new clients; as this was essentially a small boutique operation with scarce resources, lots of flexibility was required
