Responsible for developing new initiatives and programs, financial budgets, developing agency protocols and policies, networking with funders and motivating and supporting staff.• Established MOSAIC’s reputation and demonstrated capacity in various sectors including domestic violence (DV), early childhood development (ECD), youth at risk, services for men and justice response• Developed relationships with funders and secured funds for programs in the above areas• Managed human resources by hiring, modeling, coaching, training and addressing conflict and performance• Branded MOSAIC as one of the only immigrant service organizations in BC with specialized services• Some of the programs I developed and implemented became the first of their kind in Canada and received national or provincial awards Therapist/Counsellor: For over 23 years, facilitated a treatment program for men who use violence and provide clinical supervisions to counsellors.• Using psycho-education model assisted men in changing their behaviours of abuse and making positive changes in their lives• Provided clinical supervision to frontline workers supporting victims of violenceTrainer/Educator: Provided training at MOSAIC and at other organizations in the area of anti-violence and anti-racism.TV Program Host: Hosted one-hour education programs focusing on domestic violence and family resources for the South Asian community in BC. • Interviewed workers from different organizations to share their knowledge and information with the community• Conducted a community forum to showcase the education program for purposes of preventing domestic violence
