-Engineering Geological Mapping of Power Tunnel (6.4m diameters, 5210m long), Desanders (3 units of 28m x 135m), Adits, Flushing Tunnel, Valve Chamber (18m x 14m), Penstocks and cut-slopes.-Determination of Rock Mass Rating (RMR) according to Rock Mass Classification System (Bieniawski) for the above mention structures.-Evaluate and recommend support requirements for the powerhouse, intake and dam slopes and underground openings (intake tunnels, 3 units of underground desander, and power tunnel).-Performed permeability tests in rock and soil. Analyzed the result and suggested the grouting techniques.-Supervision of exploratory drilling in damsite area and logging of drill cores.-Collecting rock samples from the tunnels and conducting point load tests to evaluate rock mass strength and soil penetrometer testing to evaluate the strength of soft material in the tunnel faces, cut-slopes as well as foundations. -Conducting probe drilling in the power tunnel and preparing the schematic geological sections along the corresponding tunnel axes to evaluate the tunneling conditions ahead.-Preparation of as built geotechnical drawings (Engineering Geological Maps) and extraction of technical data for the same pertinent to the all tunnels.
