• Work with enterprise architects to build Network Architect designs and technology road maps related to the Downer network and ensuring their accuracy aligned with the organisational vision and strategy.• Responsible and accountable for network design, testing, implementation, daily operations, and the network lifecycle management.• Responsible for managing and aligning the allocated IT network funds to the company’s CapEx and OpEx expenditure model. • Provide around the clock, advanced technical support including on-call support for critical incidents and act as a point of contact for business escalations. • Take the ownership of high priority incidents and log support tickets with vendors (Cisco TAC, Zscaler, Interactive, Sierra Wireless, Fortinet, Checkpoint, SolarWinds, Telstra and Macquarie Telecom) to investigate and resolve complex network faults.• Manage the product licencing and vendor support contracts related to the products and services used by the Downer Network team (e.g. Cisco Meraki, Zscaler, Interactive, FortiGate, SolarWinds, ).• Responsible for managing various external suppliers and vendors (e.g. Telstra, Macquarie, Interactive, DXC) in relation to network services and hardware procurement.• Conduct audits and generate reports for ISO 27001 standard for information Security.• Develop and implement knowledge base article for Downer Service Desk team and for the network team.• Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Downer Zscaler proxy solution.• Work with the PMO office to initiate projects and develop Scope of work (SoW) documents, Non-Standards Service Requests (NSSR) and Project Change Requests (PCR) for business solutions to achieve the desired business outcomes. • Work with Downer Security Operations (SecOps) team and other security vendors (CyberCX, DEFEND) to mitigate security threats and prevent zero-day attacks to the business.• Leadership and mentoring of the Downer Network teams in Australia and New Zealand.

• Designing and deploying small, medium and large LAN and wireless networks across the business in Australia and New Zealand.• Responsible for managing the Spotless enterprise WAN network which consist of MPLS services,ADSL connections, 3G/4G connections and site to site VPN connections. • Managing and monitoring of the core Security infrastructure ( Checkpoint Data centre and SMB firewall, Cisco PIX and ASA firewalls, Meraki firewalls and Zscaler internet security proxy)• Monitor and manage the Intruder detection systems (IDS), Intruder prevention (IPS) systems, and Advanced Malware Protection (AMP)• Responsible for supporting the company telephony system (Skype for Business)• Work with the PMO office to initiate projects and develop Scope of work (SoW) documents.• Responsible for addressing the day to day business requests and incidents.• Responsible for requesting changes to the production network environment through the change advisory board (CAB).• Responsible for managing various external suppliers and vendors in relation to network services, hardware procurement and hardware maintenance and software support.• Contribute to the company knowledgebase by producing the support documents, how to guides and network diagrams

•Configure and install CISCO network hardware (Nexus switches, Catalyst switches, routers, Wireless LAN controllers, wireless access points, CISCO ASA 5505/5510 Firewalls)•Manage and administer the Jetstar security environment which includes CISCO ASA Firewalls, Fortinet firewalls, Juniper firewalls and Cisco Firepower intruder prevention systems.•Administration of the CISOC Security Access Control Server (ACS) for user and device Authentication, Authorisation and Accounting setup. (RADIUS and TACACS+)•Knowledge in Static, OSPF,EIGRP and BGP routing protocols to support the corporate LAN, WAN, and the Date centre network.•Configure and implement site-to-site IPSec VPN connections.•Maintain and administer the SolarWinds Orion network monitoring software. •Responsible for updating the MS Visio Network diagrams and RackTables portal.•Follow the company change management process to implement changes and represent changes in the weekly change advisory board (CAB) meetings. •Collaborate with Project team, Infrastructure team and Citrix team to execute complex projects.•Liaise with ISP to setup new WAN connections, modify existing network configurations and network links decommissioning work.•Support the Polycom video conferencing system.
