Graduate in Chemical Engineering with 24 + years of experience with majority in the field of “Business Development, Strategic/Facilities Planning, Corporate Technical Services and Process Engineering“ in Refinery processing units, gas processing & treating units.  Experience in all phase of Refinery Project from Feasibility study, FEED, EPC to Commissioning and to Normal Operation of Refinery in different team/groups/departments. Experience in preparation and reviewing all sorts of business agreements, licensor’s technical agreements, Non-disclosure Agreements, Memorandum of Understanding, sales agreements, etc., Development of new business opportunities and developing business cases, simple financial models, economical evaluations and taking approval from Management/Board of Directors. Process Engineering design and operating experience in Refinery units like CDU, VDU, HCU, VGOHT, DHT, SGU, VBU, Naphtha, LPG & Sour Gas Treating units and Merox/Merichem Treaters. Experience in Refinery Configuration study. Conceptualization of Refinery configuration, Refinery units, Tankages. Running LP models for the selection of optimum refinery configuration. Preparation of “Invitation to bid”, “scope of work” for Basic/Detailed Engg. Consultant. Technology Selection and Evaluation of different Refinery Technologies. Reviewing of Basic and Detail Engineering deliverables. Hands on experience in ASPEN PLUS, HYSIS, PETROSIM, ASPEN PIMS, Aspen Process explorer (IP 21) Conversant with design engineering standard (Shell, Saudi Aramco, UOP etc.,), API codes, OISD guidelines, best engineering practices. Experience in Preparation of Schedule A, Basic Engineering Package for Hydroprocessing units. Monitor the daily operation of the plant; ensuring plant capacity utilization, Process - Troubleshooting, Preparation of heat& material balances, Utility balances and process Notes & Daily/Monthly Reports.
