Current Formulate annual dispatch plan for optimal material distribution. Realign movement on monthly based upon the production / supply/ import plan and track closely. Manage inventory of manufactured / traded finished material to minimize inventory-holding expenses. Closely monitor overall cost as per budget & achieve savings over budget by optimizing ground stock levels with faster turnaround. Formulate short term / long term strategic plans to enhance material management operations (grade mapping to dealers, direct dispatch to dealers vs. warehousing) Ensure statutory compliances with respect to storage, transportation and insurance. Prepare monthly supply plan based on manufacturing/ import/ availability and monitor supplies against supply plan. Prepare MIS reports to provide management with the feedback on logistics operations. Plan / organize timely packing material as per the requirement. Plan & supervising annual physical Inventory verification and propose for any inventory write off. Plan & ensure implementation of operating procedures for resource optimization (days inventory, FIFO, OTIF, ERP connectivity for automation etc.) Ensure minimum customer complaints through implementing a customer complaint redressal system. Build relations and liaise with custom handling agents, transporters and carrying and forwarding agents (C&F), for smooth operations, systems and procedures for distribution and logistics. Negotiate with transporters/C&F agents for cost effective movement of consignment and ensure safe timely delivery of manufactured / traded finished goods.
