As a Senior Analyst I am part of a 24x7 dedicated operations project which covers a global install base of VNX, Atmos & Centera products alongside with Windows Servers & Windows Servers Clusters. The team is responsible for the day to day implementation, operation, monitoring, administration, incident management and request management for our customer. Some of my roles and responsibilities include:• Acting SME: Train and assist newer team members, plan and present workshops for the team.• Queue Manager: Monitor, assign and provide storage requests within SLAs.• Provisioning of complex and urgent storage requests.• Participate in weekly JF Customer Meetings (in German native language) and handling customer's JF topics.• SQL Database: Create new queries and checks to monitor storage provisioning quality.• Manage Capacity of Storage Systems: Monitor capacity of storage systems, plan and initiate migrations and new hardware installations.• Performing migration cut-overs and storage system upgrades during non-working hours.• Troubleshoot Customer and Auto-generated Incidents.• 24x7 On-Call for handling High Priority Incidents.• Participation in automation solutions for storage provisioning.
